Azzura Marine Liners Pvt Ltd is a privately held company based out OF Kolkata. The company has levaraged on EASTERN India's extended coastline and deficit infrastructure by investing in marine based assets such as self-propelled barges, a private jetty, open yard storage and warehousing and handling equipment such as cranes & grabs. The company was incorporated in September, 2007 for lightering activities of mother vessels which come upto Sagar and Diamond Harbour and ferry the cargoes to Haldia & Kolkata Port and also to take cargoes from the Port to vessels anchoring at the places mentioned above. Presently, the company has got five barges of 2500 DWT each in its fleet. Besides, the company manages and maintains the only private SEZ Jetty in India. The jetty handles around 200000 MT of cargoes per annum. Today it continues to explore new frontiers and opportunities by expanding into bulk vessels, coastal shipping and developing warehouses & private jetty's in other parts of the country.
